S.R. 203 to close in June for culvert replacement | Transportation
SCOTTSBURG, IN - Construction signs are being put in place to advise motorists of a culvert replacement project along State Road 203, located midway between S.R. 56 and S.R. 256, in Scott County.
The Indiana Department of Transportation anticipates closing S.R. 203 on Monday, June 10, for 45 days.
A state detour routes drivers around the construction site via S.R. 3 and S.R. 256.
Temple & Temple Excavating/Paving, INDOT’s contractor, is charged with removing the existing culvert and replacing it with a new 12’ X 8’ X 74’ concrete box structure.
An intermediate contract competition date for reopening the north-south highway to traffic is July 26.
