Woman leads police on multi county police chase | News

JACKSON COUNTY, IN (WAVE) –
A woman is behind bars after leading police on a high speed chase.
According to Indiana State
Police, around 7:40 p.m. Monday troopers attempted to pull over a yellow car on
southbound Interstate 65 traveling at a high rate of speed.
The driver, Gloria Risken,
62, refused to stop around the 51 mile marker and continued to travel in excess
of 100 miles per hour.
In Scott County, deputies
deployed stop sticks which caused the tires to deflate near the 31 mile marker.
Risken, was arrested and
taken to the Jackson County Jail charged with resisting law enforcement
with a vehicle and reckless driving.
