Did the March 2nd tornadoes damage or destroy your home?  Are you struggling to find permanent housing?  If so, Habitat for Humanity may be able to help, regardless of whether you rented or owned the home you lost.

Habitat will be building new homes in Clark and Jefferson counties in Southern Indiana for families impacted by the storm.  Habitat homes are energy efficient and very affordable with house payments that are less than $500 a month.  Applicants don’t have to have perfect credit. Applications are being accepted every Saturday from 10AM to 12PM at the Henryville Community Church, 1115 Lake Street Henryville, IN.

You must bring: (Copies will be made and originals returned to you.)
To qualify, applications must include the following:
• Your latest W2 tax form(s) for all wage earners
• Government issued picture IDs (driver’s license or other ID)
• Last two completed tax returns paperwork
• Your last two pay stubs (or for one month if paid weekly)
• Proof of any other income
• Bank statements (if you have any accounts) for 2 months
• Address/phone information for last two landlords (or for last 5 years) & last two employers (if at current job less than 2 years.)
• Statements of your current bills as you will be listing all your expenses on the application
• List of outstanding debts owed (amounts & the creditors)
