LOUISVILLE, KY – The George Rogers Clark Memorial/Second Street Bridge (U.S. 31E) in Louisville will be reduced to one lane in both directions on Aug. 29-30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EDT each day. The closure is to allow access for paint inspectors to examine the bottom of the bridge deck.
One lane will be open to traffic at all times during the scheduled work hours. Appropriate signage will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
The starting date and duration of work are dependent on weather conditions and may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseen delays. Dial 511 or log on to 511.ky.gov for the latest in traffic and travel information in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
