An accident in Scott County, Indiana claimed the lives of two people.
Indiana State Police tell us that the accident happened just before 3:30 Wednesday afternoon on State Road 256 near Coffee Pot Road just east of Austin.
They say 76-year-old Eleanor Morgan, of Seymour, was driving west in a gray 2007 Ford 500 when she crossed the center line and crashed head on into a red 2007 Chevrolet Colorado driven by 81-year-old Joyce Turner, of Austin.
Police say Turner was not wearing her seatbelt, but Morgan was wearing hers.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene by the Scott County Coroner's Office.
