MADISON, IN (WAVE) – The man who drove
into a crowd of people at the Madison Regatta in 2006 has been arrested again
on drug charges.

Madison Police said Michael Bowen and
two other people were arrested after officers found a backpack meth lab behind
a house on 2nd Street.

Dozens of people were injured on July
2, 2006 when Bowen plowed his car into the stands at the Madison Regatta after
huffing chemicals and smoking pot. He was sentenced to four years in prison.
